Ramadan Malaysia : small tour for street food bazaar
What to eat in Kuala Lumpur for the break of the youth, during the month of Ramadan Malaysia?
We tested the famous “bazaar “.
These are landscaped squares with many food stalls.
You will find burgers, juices, cakes here and there, etc.
It is usually very cheap, but the quality is not necessarily there 🙂
Quick video to present you the bazaar of BUKIT JALIL (district in the south of Kuala Lumpur).

The BAZAAR of BUKIT JALIL
With COVID in Malaysia, many bazaars have not opened.
This year, in Kuala Lumpur, there is an average of thirty, generally open from 3pm to 8pm.
The one in BUKIT JALIL opens from 3pm to 11pm.
As I write this article, Malaysia is experiencing an increase in new positive coronavirus cases.
Many bazaars have been called to close as of May 1, 2021.
Address of the BAZAAR of BUKIT JALIL

Our opinion and some pictures
It’s nice to walk around, but personally, you won’t find any good gastronomic surprises here, as you can imagine.
The juices were very sweet (cane sugar added, by abuse).
There is a lot of fried food (as is often the case in Malaysian cuisine).
So, if you want to avoid an excess of sugars or fats, this is not the place for you.
Our VLOG MALAYSIA
Here is the video during our passage in this bazaar RAMADHAN Malaysia 2021.
Conclusion and advice
- Don’t expect an explosion of flavors.
- There are many bazaars: those of Shah Alam, or TTDI have good reputation.
- On Bukit Jalil, a prayer area has been set up (for men and women): you can break your fast quietly on the spot and perform your prayer.
